Upcycled Bokashi: Colorado grown, freshly fermented, diverted grains.

Upcycled Bokashi: Colorado grown, freshly fermented, diverted grains.

More than just bokashi composting, Upcycled Bokashi boosts your home & garden.

Colorado grown.

Upcycled Bokashi is hand crafted from diverted grain chaff, using malted grain chaff. We collect & divert this local resource, preventing it from reaching the landfill.

  • The same wheat, barley, and rye grains that make craft beer are the heart of Upcylced Bokashi.

  • Our effective microbe formula is consistent & powerful. Get amazing results in composting, top dressing, and soil mixtures.

  • Each batch of Upcycled Bokashi is carefully fermented, monitored, and dried in our climate controlled workshop, never in the sun.

We make it simple, easy, and fast to compost at home year round.

  • Our 3.5 gallon HDPE buckets are tough, food grade, and actually recyclable. With this quality though, you an expect it to last as long as you need it.

  • USA Made Gamma2Seal lids keep your container sealed, keeping funky ferments in and smells out.

  • Now available in 4 pound bags, the Deluxe Bokashi Buddy bundle will keep you composting for months before you need to refill.

I love my Bokashi Buddy system so much!

Learn more about how bokashi works.

Oz was one of our greatest friends.

We adopted Oz when he was 5 years old. He was always happiest in our garden, and he was by our side whenever we were digging in beds, soaking up sun, or planting seeds. We said goodbye to our beloved orange garden buddy when he was 21 years old.

We have always affectionately called our garden his garden, and in that same spirit want to share Garden of Oz with you.

Our Namesake: Oz
